Booking

How do I book a Velvet experience?

You can book in 3 ways: (1) Use our online booking form on this website, (2) Message us directly on WhatsApp, or (3) Call us at +91-7662002700. Online booking is the fastest — you'll get a confirmation within minutes.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 24–48 hours in advance, especially for weekends and holidays. For same-day bookings, call us directly — subject to availability. Booking early also ensures you get your preferred time slot.

What information do I need to provide while booking?

You'll need: your name, phone number, preferred date & time, venue type (Theater/Cabana), number of guests, and occasion type. Any special requests (decoration theme, cake flavour, etc.) can also be shared at booking time.

Can I book for a group of friends?

Absolutely! The Private Theater accommodates up to 15 guests, the Cabana up to 12 guests, and the Full Venue (both combined) up to 30 guests. For larger groups, contact us directly.

Can I get a confirmation of my booking?

Yes! Once your advance payment is received, you'll get a booking confirmation on WhatsApp with all the details — date, time, venue, and your booking reference number. Save this for your records.
Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), and cash at the venue. We do not accept credit/debit cards at this time.

How much do I need to pay in advance?

A 50% advance payment is required to confirm your booking. The remaining 50% is paid at the venue on the day of your session.

Is there any booking fee or hidden charge?

No hidden charges. The price you see on the Pricing page is what you pay. Add-ons (cake, decoration, photography) are priced separately and communicated upfront before you agree to them.

Do you provide invoices or receipts?

Yes. A payment confirmation is sent via WhatsApp after each payment. For a formal receipt or invoice, please request it at the time of booking and we'll provide one.

What's included in a Private Theater booking?

Every booking includes:
  • Exclusive use of the venue for your session duration
  • 140-inch 4K projection screen + Dolby surround sound
  • Comfortable recliner/sofa seating

  • Your own movie, series, or content — bring it on a pen drive/OTT login
  • Complimentary popcorn & soft drinks

Can I play my own movie or content?

Yes! You can bring a pen drive with movies/videos or log into your OTT account (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube, etc.). Our system supports all major formats and streaming platforms.

What is the difference between Theater and Cabana?

The Private Theater is an indoor, fully air-conditioned auditorium-style venue with a large screen and surround sound — best for movie screenings, birthdays, and group events.

The Cabana is a semi-open, luxurious relaxation space with fairy lights, day beds, and a chill vibe — ideal for date nights, intimate gatherings, and sunset evenings.

How long is each session?

Sessions are typically 2 to 3 hours depending on the package. Extended sessions are available — check the Pricing page. Extra time beyond your booked slot can be added at the venue for ₹500/hour (subject to availability).

Is there parking available?

Yes, complimentary parking is available for all guests near the venue. For exact location and parking details, refer to our Contact page or the Google Maps link in your booking confirmation.
Food & Cake

Can I bring outside food?

Yes, outside food is welcome! We only ask that you avoid strongly odorous food (e.g., very pungent fish or meat dishes) out of consideration for other guests and the venue. Snacks, packaged food, and desserts are perfectly fine.

Can I get a cake arranged by Velvet?

Yes! We have a curated list of local bakeries we work with. You can choose from standard cakes (from ₹500) or custom photo/theme cakes. Mention it while booking and we'll arrange it. Custom cakes require at least 48 hours' notice.

Is alcohol permitted at the venue?

Alcohol is not permitted on the premises by default. In specific, pre-arranged packages for private corporate or adult events, limited beverage allowances may apply — contact us in advance to discuss.

Is food provided in the booking, or do I need to bring my own?

All bookings include complimentary popcorn and 2 soft drinks per person. You are welcome to bring additional food. For premium packages, a full snack platter can be arranged — ask us while booking.
Rules & Access

What time can I arrive?

Please arrive within 10–15 minutes of your booked slot. Early arrivals may have to wait in the reception area if the previous session is still in progress. Late arrival (beyond 15 minutes) does not extend your session duration.

Are children allowed?

Yes! Children are welcome and counted in the guest capacity. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Baby carriers and prams can be accommodated — let us know while booking.

Are pets allowed?

Small, well-behaved pets in carriers are welcome with prior notice. Please inform us at the time of booking. Pets are not permitted on furniture and owners are responsible for their conduct.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking and use of tobacco products are strictly prohibited inside all venues. This includes e-cigarettes and vapes. Violation will result in immediate session termination without refund.

What are your operating hours?

Velvet is open every day from 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day). Last booking slot begins at 11:00 PM. On public holidays and festival days, we may have extended or altered hours — check with us.
Cancellation & Refunds

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. Cancellations are accepted via WhatsApp. Refund eligibility:
  • 24+ hours before: Full refund of advance.
  • 12–24 hours before: 50% refund of advance.
  • Less than 12 hours: No refund.

Can I reschedule my booking?

Yes — rescheduling is always free with at least 12 hours' notice, subject to availability. Just message us on WhatsApp with your booking reference and new preferred date/time.

How long does a refund take?

We initiate refunds within 1 business day of a confirmed cancellation. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your payment method: UPI typically 2–4 days, bank transfers 5–7 days.

What if Velvet cancels my booking?

If we must cancel your confirmed booking (technical emergency, force majeure, etc.), you will receive a 100% refund of all amounts paid, plus priority rescheduling at a discounted rate as a goodwill gesture.
